Sister Clare Theresa Crockett, 33, was a missionary nun from Derry, Northern Island. She was one of the many victims of the deadliest earthquake in the history of Ecuador.
Sister Clare was famous for her love for music. Based at Playa Prieta, Ecuador, she taught trainee nuns how to play the guitar.
In a BBC story published April 19th, one of her neighbors shared that Sister Clare was “a lovely, bubbly girl.” “I remember her singing in the karaoke,” she said.
Playing the guitar was her longtime passion. People always called her a superstar.
